Bro. Robert L. Newman (Fall 2013) Takes The Reins As President Of The Morehouse Manhattan Alumni

A native of Little Rock, Arkansas, Brother Robert L. Newman III is the #5 on Alpha Rho's Fall 2013 line, the Zionic 23, a 2014 Morehouse College Graduate, and is currently working in New York City as an Assistant Vice President at Neuberger Berman on the Financial Planning & Analysis team. Although Robert has a background in business and finance, outside of the office he spends a majority of his time working as a freelance artist, conducting exhibitions in galleries across New York City and serving the community through various mentoring and arts based non-profits.

Rob has been involved with the Manhattan Morehouse Alumni Association (MMAA) since moving to NYC in 2014, and joining in an official capacity in the winter of 2018. In his role as President he is responsible carrying out the organization's goals of helping NYC-area alumni connect with the school, each other and the broader NYC community.
